Class Schedule

Classes are held on Thursdays and Fridays and are listed on the calendar below.

Training follows a continuous schedule rather than fixed class types. Instruction may include solo practice, paired exercises, or combined training depending on the needs of the group.

Students are not required to attend on specific days to keep pace — material is adapted week to week so those training one day per week can progress consistently.

The final week of each month is designated as an Open Class, allowing time for individual practice, review, and instructor training.

Arrival & Preparation

Students are expected to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for:

  • Changing
  • Performing Torei (the traditional bow to one’s sword)
  • Personal warm-up

Training Structure

Depending on the week, training may include:

  • Iai (solo sword practice)
  • Kumitachi (paired sword drills)

Both are considered integral parts of study and are introduced progressively.

Open-Door Policy

In the spirit of traditional budō, our dojo maintains an open-door philosophy:
Anyone curious or interested is welcome to observe or participate.

We offer a two free trial classes so new students can experience both class types before subscribing.
